Job Description & Requirements Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, rotating Employment Type: Travel Position / Title: L&D - RN (Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Unit) Facility Name: Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital Location: 81 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970 VMS Req ID / Job ID: 18787 / Job ID: 877227 Target Start Date: 09/20/2026 Shift Details: Day Rotator (Rotating between 07:00–19:30, 11:00–23:30, and 19:00–07:30), with 1 night of call and Every Other Weekend (EOW) . 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available. No straight days offered. What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations) Experience & Qualifications Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience required. License & Certifications: Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS , NRP , and EFM (every 2 years for L&D) required. AHA ACLS preferred. Clinical & Unit Overview Unit Details: 25-bed unit encompassing L&D, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery (NBN), 2 ORs, 2 recovery rooms (RR), and 2 ANU rooms (with 4 beds). Average daily census is 15–25 mothers, babies, and labors. Patient Ratios & Care: L&D: 1:2–3 evaluations, 1:1 active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural. Postpartum: 1:3–4. Key Skills Required: Labor & delivery, postpartum care, circulating, and newborn care. Charting System: EPIC . Floating Requirements: None.
