Location: Burlington County Special Services School District - Educational Services Unit (ESU)

Position Summary
BCSSSD is seeking a qualified and dedicated Reading Specialist to join our Educational Services Unit full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a NJDOE Certification as a Reading Specialist and possess a strong background in literacy instruction, particularly with students with special needs. This role requires a collaborative professional who can support curriculum implementation, foster a positive learning environment, and effectively work with both students and staff.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Certification as a Reading Specialist (required)
• Master's degree or higher (required)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in reading and literacy instruction in a school setting, preferably with special needs populations
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment
• Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to direct and train paraprofessional and/or professional staff
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Salary & Benefits
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $64,064 - $82,487
