Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cath lab and electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety, assist in complex interventions, and maintain clinical excellence throughout each shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, and Meditech systems.
• Assist physicians during interventions including TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, and device implants.
• Document procedures accurately using established systems such as MacLab and Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with unit-specific policies, certifications, and dress code requirements.
• Float within departments as needed, supporting various cardiology services including EP and Stress Lab.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of prior cath lab experience, particularly in structural heart and intervention procedures.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP, and related cardiac procedures.
• Maintain valid credentials required for cardiac cath lab roles.
• Exhibit strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
