Pipe Welder PositionWe are seeking Pipe Welders or Combo Welder/Fitters to join a large-scale exciting project. This role involves assembling and installing piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pipe welding techniques, and blueprint reading, contributing to the successful execution of complex piping installations. This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse project that requires precision and mechanical knowledge.Position Length: 6 month Contract to Hire OR Contract 6 monthsCurrent Project Duration: 6 monthsHours: 4 10s and one 8 hour dayPipe Welder DutiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specificationsCut, fit, and weld (Stick) metal pipes and pipe componentsInspect welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and code compliancePrepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and beveling pipe surfacesOperate welding tools, torches, grinders, and cutting equipmentRepair defective weldsFollow OSHA and workplace safety proceduresWork closely with pipefitters, fabricators, and supervisorsExperience/RequirementsJunior or Senior-level candidates are encouraged to apply!Must have basic hand tools (Welders will bring their own hood)Welders must either have a 6G cert or have had one in the pastA badging process is requiredMust have reliable transportationBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance
