• Pay Rate: $58.00-$60.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 Hours, 8:00-16:30. This facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s.
• Travel Requirements: Traveler is expected to have their own transportation. System does a good job grouping clients minimizing drive and windshield time. Occasional maximum radius of roughly 60 miles (60-90 minute total drive time) per day.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) travel/contract opportunity based in West Portland, OR and surrounding areas. The role is classified as Allied therapy in the Home Health specialty, providing skilled home health services to patients across the service area.

Key Responsibilities

• May visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard (1:1 ratio).
• Provide skilled home health therapy services to patients within the West Portland, OR service area and surrounding regions.
• Utilize EPIC Remote Client for Home Health (on laptop) and Rover (phone app) for charting.

Required Skills

• BCLS certification required.
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 6 patients per day and meet 30 productivity points standard.
• Own reliable transportation required for travel to patient homes.

Education Requirements

• PTA License required.
• BCLS certification required.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of skilled Home Health experience required.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• First-time travelers accepted.
• Pending license accepted.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas.
• Occasional maximum radius of roughly 60 miles (60-90 minute total drive time) per day.
• Business casual attire; no jeans. Scrubs allowed but not required (no specific color required).
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS Standard rate.
• Parking: Free.
• No weekend requirement.
• No on-call requirement.
• No floating between like units required.
• Block schedule not available.
• Facility requires primary series COVID vaccination in addition to one booster.

Important Notes

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off UP TO one shift per pay period (every two weeks).
• Locals accepted; considered "local" within 50-75 mile radius and will accept locals at the same rate.
• RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager.
• Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
