Job Summary:
A Mammography Technologist position is available in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography, demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week)
• Required Qualifications: New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and adherence to MQSA requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in biopsy and stereo imaging
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role requires demonstrating effective and efficient work habits while performing mammography procedures, including image evaluation, proper labeling, and timely transmission to PACS and IDX systems. Responsible for accurate patient tracking and compliance with departmental SOPs.
