Role Overview
The team is seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Analyst with strong hands-on configuration and build experience to support ongoing system optimization, enhancements, break-fix activities, and upcoming projects.

This is a senior-level role requiring someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute to complex Epic PB initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have experience supporting Claims and related revenue cycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on Epic Professional Billing (PB) configuration, system builds, optimization, and enhancements.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, break-fix requests, and post-upgrade backlogs.

Support coding changes related to maternity care across Professional Billing and Ambulatory.

Contribute to AI-powered charge review enhancements.

Support the development and optimization of pre-service payment plans for dental services.

Assist with the Indexing Assistant AI feature for scanned document processing.

Provide Claims-related support as needed.

Potentially contribute to future Epic Willow implementation initiatives.

Manage system updates, documentation, and competing project priorities.

Collaborate with clinical, operational, billing, and technical stakeholders to support revenue cycle processes.

Required Qualifications
Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) certification.

Strong hands-on Epic PB build and configuration experience.

Senior-level experience, preferably Level 2 or Level 3; junior analysts will not be considered.

Experience with healthcare billing workflows, including contracts, Charge Router/charge handling, and benefits engine estimates.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management, administrative documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and support multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Availability to work during Pacific Time (PT) business hours.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

Epic Community Connect experience.

Claims experience in addition to Professional Billing.

Candidates located near Fresno or Bakersfield, California, who can work onsite if needed.

Experience with AI-driven healthcare revenue cycle tools and optimization initiatives.

Contract and Engagement Details
Work Arrangement: Remote, aligned with PST hours.

Engagement: Contract-to-Hire preferred; straight contract also accepted.

Payroll: Candidate must be onboarded as a W2 employee through the staffing partner; subcontracting is not permitted.

Rate: Flexible, with a target below $100/hour.

Location Preference: Candidates near Fresno or Bakersfield are preferred, particularly those available for occasional onsite work.
