About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: N/A Certifications: ACLS & BLS Must-Have: - CVOR experience Description: This position is for the OR department. The unit has 2 OR suites and a staff of 6, including 3 RNs and 3 CSTs. All staff work day shifts with a patient ratio of 1:1. The department uses EMR Meditech for record-keeping. Candidates must have CVOR experience. Scrubbing experience is preferred. Typical procedures performed include CABG, Thoracotomy, Endo AAA, Valve Replacement, and Pacemaker placement. The ideal candidate is flexible, knowledgeable, and a self-starter. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call are required. Dress code is light blue scrubs, which will be provided.
