Part-Time Assistant Teacher (Infant/Toddler) – Afternoon Hours Little Scouts Preschool is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Teacher to support our program, with a primary focus on infants and toddlers. What We're Looking For A genuine interest in working with infants and toddlers A calm, patient, and attentive presence Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependability and professionalism The ability to follow through on routines and expectations Professional Expectations Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Follow all Little Scouts and Board of Education policies Complete required annual professional development (Gateways Registry) Schedule Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Job Summary Support teachers in infant and toddler classrooms Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, rest time, and transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom environment Step in as needed to support ratios and ensure smooth classroom flow Build warm, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Qualifications Must be at least 19 years old Experience with young children preferred CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred (or in progress) CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Working Conditions This is an active, hands-on role that includes standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and engaging with children both indoors and outdoors. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lake-Forest-School-District
