State-Certified Nurse Aide Training ProgramThank you for your interest in our State-Certified Nurse Aide Training Program. This is a fast-paced, two-week course designed to prepare qualified candidates for a rewarding career in healthcare.Interview RequirementsTo be considered for the program, please bring the following items to your interview:A completed applicationA valid photo IDYour Social Security cardAttendance and Academic RequirementsDue to the accelerated nature of the program, students must arrive on time and attend every scheduled class and clinical session. Absences and tardiness are not permitted.Students must maintain a minimum grade average of 85% to remain enrolled in the course.Books, Supplies, and UniformsA $25 refundable deposit for books and supplies is required on the first day of class. The deposit will be returned upon successful completion and graduation from the program.Students are also responsible for purchasing one set of royal blue scrubs, which must be worn each day during class and clinical training.Candidate SelectionClass size is limited, and participation is not guaranteed. Candidates are selected based on several factors, including:Current staffing needs at the centerShift availabilityEntrance exam scoreScheduling flexibilityPrevious work historyProfessionalism and attitudeThe candidates who best meet the needs and requirements of the program will be selected.Employment OpportunitiesEmployment opportunities may be available following successful completion of the training program.
