We are seeking a self-driven Platform Engineer II to maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure while supporting environments built to meet government certification requirements.You will own small-to-medium infrastructure projects, collaborate across engineering teams, and use infrastructure as code and automation to support reliable, secure deployments.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.Operate AWS EKS, including autoscaling, resource management, and troubleshooting.Manage IAM, cross-account access, and secrets using Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Python, and Bash.Build production-ready containers and support CI/CD pipelines.Improve system health through Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana, dashboards, and alerts.Support application teams, participate in code reviews, and join the on-call rotation.Use AI tools to accelerate infrastructure work while validating security and accuracy.What You'll Need2–4 years of experience supporting production cloud infrastructure or CI/CD systems.Hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with Kubernetes/EKS.Experience with Terraform, Helm, GitOps, Docker, and CI/CD tools.Experience with Python or Bash.Familiarity with IAM, secrets management, databases, and monitoring tools.Azure, Google Cloud, Golang, and Argo CD experience are a plus.Eligibility RequirementsMust be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance or favorable Public Trust determination.Must pass a federal background investigation and meet applicable residency or onsite requirements.Growth OpportunitiesAdvanced AWS architecture, networking, and Terraform design.Stateful services, secrets management, and certificate automation.FedRAMP High compliance automation and enterprise FinOps.High-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.Discretionary Time Off for all employees, with no maximum limits on time offIndustry leading health, vision, and dental benefitsCompetitive compensation package16 weeks of fully paid parental leaveFlexible, hybrid approach to working from home and in the office where applicablePurposeful career development programs with reimbursement provided for educational certificationsThis position is not eligible for residents of California, Colorado, or New York.
