Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 6 weeks assignment; mid-shift hours ranging from 10:00 AM to 1:30 AM; every third weekend required

• Level 2 trauma center with 24-bed Emergency Department
• Diverse case mix including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with unit secretary support and dedicated tech availability
• Modern equipment including GE monitor systems, Lifepak, Alaris pumps, and Arctic Sun
• Meditech documentation system
• Rapid response assignment with condensed onboarding checklist and quick start capability

Requirements:

• Current Kansas RN license
• Minimum 2 years Emergency/Trauma nursing experience in a Level 2 trauma center
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, and NIH
• CEN or TCRN certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge of trauma care, STEMI protocols, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage
• Ability to start within 5-7 days of offer
