Role Description This full-time, on-site General Dentist role is based in Saluda,SC. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a range of restorative and preventive procedures. Daily responsibilities include performing fillings, crowns, extractions, and other general dentistry services; supervising dental assistants and hygienists chairside; and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards. The role also involves educating patients on oral health, discussing treatment options, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation. The General Dentist will collaborate with practice leadership to support a positive patient experience and contribute to the growth and quality of the practice. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school and an active, unrestricted South Carolina dental license (or eligibility to obtain). Clinical proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative care, preventive services, and basic surgical procedures. Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust across diverse patient populations. Commitment to high standards of infection control, patient safety, and ethical practice, including adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based clinical environment and provide guidance to dental assistants and hygienists. Interest in ongoing professional development and openness to using new technologies, tools, and clinical techniques.
