Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00/5:30 PM

Pay: $18.50$20.00/hr depending on experience

Dress Code: Solid color scrubs

Position Type: Contract OR Temp to Hire

Our client, a busy multi-location medical practice, is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their team. This role requires flexibility to work between two offices located just 15 minutes apart.

Responsibilities

Room patients, record vitals, and obtain medical histories
Maintain patient flow and assist with scheduling
Document accurately in the EMR system
Perform clerical duties, including reports and notes
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Support physicians and clinical staff in daily operations
Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies

Requirements

Current Medical Assistant Certification
OB/GYN experience or multidisciplinary clinic experience
Active BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Willingness to rotate between Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices
