CWS is an equal opportunity employer and affords equal opportunity to all applicants and employees for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other status protected under local, state or federal laws.Job SummaryThis person will work in the field for most of their day and be responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data from residential and commercial customer locations.ResponsibilitiesReview service orders to determine locations where meter readings need to be performedRead water meters and enter data in route logsMaintains required paperwork and logs in compliance with Federal, State and local rules and regulationsInspect meters and connections to determine defects, faults and damagesRepairs and/or replaces broken water mains and service linesCommunicate problems with meters or incorrect readings to the Project ManagerOperates a company vehicle to conduct meter readings for assigned routeConnect and disconnect utility services as directedEnsure that all data in the utility log book is maintained correctly, and kept updatedPerform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning, and other typical landscape maintenance tasksPerforms other related duties as directedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records are required1-year experience in water distribution, maintenance or servicing industry preferredAbility to work independentlyAbility to understand water systems and conceptsStrong attention to detailMust be available to work weekends, overtime and ‘on-call’ as neededConstruction background preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Clearwater Solutions, LLC.
