Academic Pediatric Endocrinologist
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Pediatrics subspecialty faculty team at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Flint Campus, in collaboration with Hurley Medical Center and Children’s Hospital.
The RoleThe position available is for an academic pediatric endocrinologist within the Pediatrics residency program. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible if currently in training. This role includes responsibilities such as educating resident physicians and engaging actively as a faculty member.
Candidate QualificationsApplicants should possess excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, along with a strong proficiency in technology. A commitment to serving an urban population is essential.
Academic AppointmentFaculty members at Hurley have the opportunity to apply for an academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with the rank determined by their experience.
Loan ForgivenessEligible candidates may qualify for loan forgiveness under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program for qualifying student debt.
