Duties and Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in accordance with Simpson’s medication administration policy. Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate). Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, feeding, mobility, transfers, and positioning. Provide wound care (cleaning, dressing) and occasional catheter care. Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident care and safety. Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining resident care plans as needed. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure, including annual Relias online training as required by PA regulations. Qualifications High‑School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). If the diploma was earned outside the United States, it must be translated into English. Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program. Current Pennsylvania LPN license with no judgments or disciplinary action. CPR certification. First Aid certification. Preferred: AED certification. Minimum one year of experience as an LPN in long‑term care (memory‑care facility experience preferred but not required). Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Strong communication skills with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Ability to work as a team member, follow directions, and handle stressful situations appropriately. Benefits Compensation based on experience with shift differential.
