Job Summary: Maintaining, repairing and building equipment Required Qualifications:Advanced schooling in hydraulics, programmable logic, pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair and electronic repair and troubleshootingJourneyman certificate in maintenance preferredMinimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience Critical Success Factors:Excellent attendance Ability to resolve maintenance issuesAbility to construct and/or fabricate tables, conveyors, etc.Accuracy of workAbility to read blueprints and to fabricate from the sameUptime of equipmentSafety and environmental compliance  Responsibilities:Machine repairTroubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systemsEnsure compliance with Federal/ State/ Local safety and environmental regulationsSeek ways to reduce waste, manufacturing byproducts, and hazardous raw materialsAbility to deal with problems involving many variables in different situationsAbility to perform complex mathematical calculations using algebra and trigonometryAbility to read and follow written and oral instructionsAbility to deal with problems involving many variables in different situationsCompetency Level 2 includes all intermediate understanding of the processes and functions as they relate to the position as determined by the leadership team Working ConditionsWorking near moving mechanical partsNoisy environmentElectrical environmentWorking on plant floor (PPE required) Effort/Physical DemandsLifting and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.Standing for long periods of timeUsing hand to finger, finger to finger, handle or feel objects and use hand tools or twist fasteners repetitively for long periods of timeConstant communication with employees, peers, and managementOvertime as required Health and Safety ResponsibilitiesMust use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the companyMust work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and proceduresBack-up Duties:Perform other duties as requiredBackground check and pre-employment drug screen required for employment opportunity.
