Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Specialist position located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing specialized surgical care in a Level I trauma environment, with a focus on open heart procedures. The position requires clinical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with call every third day, during which a 30-minute response time is required. The schedule includes working 5 days per week, with the possibility of working 2 weekends per month.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) surgery, with certifications including NBSTSA and BLS. EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system experience is required. Level I trauma experience is needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: May be required to float to general Operating Room if needed.
• Additional Information: Candidate will potentially care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; prior notification is recommended.
• Travel and Licensing: Local radius is 50 miles; local candidates will be offered at a lower border rate. A valid Pennsylvania license is required for pharmacists/pharmacy techs, and applicants must meet all mammography requirements if applicable. PM45 testing and modules, primarily pre-start, are billable and typically take 5-6 hours to complete.
• Note: RTO (Request for Time Off) should be minimized to a maximum of 7 days. No NCCT certifications are accepted for this role.
