What You Will Be Doing 

1. Remote consultative sales position

2. $1.3M prorated quota (2026) 

3. Working with net new and existing customers, primarily engaging with personas such as Deans, Directors of Nursing, and Directors of Simulation across Universities and Community Colleges, and NPD Specialists and CNOs across Health Systems.

4. Guide customers through the entire consultative sales process including prospecting, education, qualification, demonstration, closing, and repeat sales.

5. Engage prospects through tailored email cadences, virtual meetings, and in-person events. Prospecting is supported by SDR, but not entirely managed by SDR.

6. Up to 15% Travel including conferences and events, on-site customer meetings, and Avkin team week. 

7. Nurture relationships with state and local simulation organizations.

What You Need for this Position 

Requirements:

• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and complete a 40 hr+ work week 
• Collaborative, team focused mentality 
• The knowledge and confidence to be viewed as a trusted advisor by our customers 
• Innovative mindset and excitement about adapting to new information that improves your sales process. 
• Demonstrates exceptional emotional intelligence and a commitment to integrating evidence-based sales strategies into daily communication. 
• High attention to detail with data entry and willingness to follow processes to optimize CRM (Hubspot). 
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 4 hours without break, and walk distances of at least a mile. 
• Technical acumen to be able to quickly understand and communicate how electronic and mechanical devices work. 

Preferred:

• 3 years proven sales experience 
• Experience with complex sales cycles, as a Subject Matter Expert, in Simulation Operations, or with sales to higher education or K-12

$127K total compensation at 100% to target
