Job Summary

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Help residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate.
Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
Support residents with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies.
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.

Qualifications

Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
