Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Springfield, MO office. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate and securities law, with experience advising investment funds and investors. This role involves working with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team. Duties Advise investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Provide counsel to investors in various fund types. Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit. Manage multiple projects and articulate legal strategies effectively. Requirements Three to five years of relevant experience preferred. Active bar license in the state of the office location or commitment to obtain one. Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and exercise sound judgment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar license or eligibility to obtain one. Skills Strong background in corporate and securities law. Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds preferred. Superior interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive and dynamic approach to work.
