About the Position

We are currently seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for an OTR position in Weyers Cave, Virginia. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $0.62 to $0.65 per mile, with top drivers earning over $90,000 annually. The position is full-time and temp-to-hire, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $0.62 - $0.65 per mile
Average weekly earnings: $1,500 - $1,900+
Work Schedule: 5-day schedule (choose from Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs)
Start times between 57 a.m.
Optional Saturday shifts available
Guarantee of 48 hours off
Average shifts last 1014 hours

Job Details

Route Type: OTR, primarily no-touch freight
Freight: Dry van routes across NC, VA, MD, NJ, DE, PA, OH, WV, with some routes in GA
Equipment: 53 dry vans (both automatic and manual options available)

Key Responsibilities

Operate a CDL A truck safely and efficiently
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate logs
Ensure the safe handling of freight

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A
1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Hazmat endorsement preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
