Horne Heating and Air Conditioning Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus emergency on-call support as needed Compensation: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus additional earning opportunities through spiffs, commissions, and incentives. Why Join Our Team? $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience Additional earning potential through spiffs, commissions, and performance incentives Consistent, year-round employment Monday through Friday schedule Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Two weeks of accrued paid time off Paid holidays plus your birthday 401(k) with a 3% company match and partial matching on contributions of 4% to 5% Company-provided take-home vehicle Company-issued iPad Company-provided uniforms and laundry service Company-provided water bottles Professional development and reimbursement for qualifying certifications Quarterly performance incentives and team-building events Annual company celebration and employee appreciation activities Opportunities for long-term career growth What You'll Do Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical issues Perform electrical installations, service work, and repairs Install and replace outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, and other electrical components Assist with electrical panel, circuit, and wiring projects based on experience and qualifications Identify electrical safety concerns and recommend appropriate solutions Communicate findings and service recommendations clearly with homeowners Complete work according to applicable electrical codes and safety standards Maintain accurate job documentation and keep company tools and equipment organized Work with the team to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction What We're Looking For Previous hands-on experience in residential electrical installation, service, or troubleshooting Strong understanding of residential wiring, circuits, and electrical components Ability to diagnose electrical problems and complete work safely Familiarity with electrical codes and proper installation practices Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Professional communication and customer service abilities Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history Willingness to continue learning and developing electrical skills A Journeyman license is not required for this position. Candidates must be able to perform assigned electrical work in accordance with applicable licensing and supervision requirements.
