Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy, consultative services, and staff training as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations and best practices
