Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Pasadena, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed freestanding emergency department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting Operate and monitor equipment such as defibrillators, Hamilton Vents, Welch Allyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitors Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR (transitioning from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse) Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across day, mid, and night shifts to ensure continuity of care Float to an alternate freestanding emergency department location as needed Required Qualifications Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Texas or compact eligibility) ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required NIHSS certification required CPI certification required Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification Experience in a freestanding emergency department or high-acuity ER environment Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to patient experience Why Join Us Work in a dynamic freestanding emergency department setting with a supportive team structure and no on-call requirements Gain valuable travel nursing experience with a projected start date in November 2026 and a structured 13-week engagement Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 786100.
