Job Description
Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, work instructions, and technical documentation to support production processes, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and delivery objectives.
- Position Details
- Aerospace Manufacturing
- Full Time, 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), OT/Weekend as required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
- Education & Job Requirements
- 5+years of Manufacturing Planner experience
- 5+ years of experience with CAD Software
- Ability to interpret and read 2d and 3d drawing and specs,
- Analyze & Interpret Engr Data
- Manufacturing Engineering processes
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Previous Boeing Planner Experience
- Gold ESP & MESCI experience
- Experience with IVT, REDARS, WIRS
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develops manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
- Implements manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
- Supports mechanics by providing clarification related to planning and engineering drawings and specifications
- Integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
- Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met
- Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
- Manages tools from initial design to end-of-use disposition
- Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues
- Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs
- Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
- Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
- Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
- Works under general direction
