Registered Nurse-Hourly

Bluegrass Surgery and Laser Center is currently searching for a Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays (4, 10-hour shifts) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures; assisting physician during procedure; providing care for patients in recovery and actively participating in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Candidates for this position are required to: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care. Utilize the nursing process to perform safe and individualized nursing care throughout the Pre‑op, Intra‑op, and post‑operative process. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, and maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS.
