Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members to facilitate efficient and safe surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families on procedural outcomes and post-operative care expectations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, and neurological surgical procedures.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
• Experience working in a regional referral center or integrated health system environment.
