Hupp Family Agencies is hiring a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Representative for our North Aurora-area sales team. We are an established, growing Allstate agency with a strong lead program, modern sales technology, defined processes, and a serious commitment to helping productive salespeople succeed.

This is not a commission-only opportunity, and you will not be expected to build your entire pipeline from scratch. We provide sales opportunities, lead-management systems, dialing and texting tools, training, coaching, and an experienced team to support your success. You will be expected to work those opportunities consistently, follow up aggressively, and close business.

We are looking for someone who enjoys sales, is comfortable on the phone, and takes personal responsibility for results. You should be motivated by clear goals, uncapped commission, team incentives, and the opportunity to advance as our agencies continue growing.

Previous Property and Casualty insurance sales experience is strongly preferred. Experience with State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, American Family, COUNTRY Financial, another captive agency, or an independent personal-lines agency is especially valuable.

Compensation includes a dependable base salary, uncapped commission, and additional bonus opportunities. Expected annual earnings are $60,000–$90,000, depending on experience and production.

Responsibilities

Quote and sell personal-lines insurance products, including auto, home, renters, condominium, landlord, umbrella, and related coverage

Respond promptly to agency-provided leads and sales opportunities

Make consistent outbound calls, send texts and emails, and follow up with prospective customers

Build complete household insurance packages rather than focusing on a single policy

Explain coverage options, deductibles, discounts, and policy features clearly

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Cross-sell additional products and coverage when appropriate

Maintain an organized pipeline of new leads, active quotes, and future follow-ups

Use agency technology, CRM systems, dialing tools, texting platforms, and carrier systems consistently

Meet established daily activity, quoting, sales, and production expectations

Document customer conversations and follow-up activity accurately

Participate in coaching, training, call reviews, and team sales meetings

Work closely with customer-service employees to create a smooth transition after the sale

Follow carrier guidelines, agency procedures, and all licensing and compliance requirements

Contribute positively to team goals, contests, and agency growth

Requirements

Previous insurance sales experience strongly preferred

Active Illinois Property and Casualty insurance license preferred

Personal-lines insurance knowledge, including auto and homeowners coverage

Experience quoting, presenting, following up, overcoming objections, and closing sales

Proven ability to work toward measurable activity and production goals

Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and follow-up contacts

Strong telephone presence and professional written communication

Self-motivated, competitive, dependable, and accountable

Able to manage multiple leads and follow-up dates without allowing opportunities to disappear

Comfortable receiving direct coaching and using a defined sales process

Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation habits

Comfortable using CRM, email, phone, texting, quoting, and carrier platforms

Able to work full-time from our North Aurora-area office

High school diploma or equivalent required
