Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Hemet, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
