Job title: Database Administrator - Microsoft SQL Server Job location: Atlantic City, NJ onsite Job Type: Full time A leading hospitality and entertainment company is seeking a Database Administrator responsible for configuring and maintaining servers and databases within the property. The role will involve building and managing SQL clusters, prioritizing memory, implementing SQL security, data classification, writing SQL queries, and managing SQL backups. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later versions. Set up, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server in a clustered environment. Configure replication of databases and understand the impact of replication on the system. Apply best practices for maintaining, backing up, and restoring SQL databases in a high‑transaction, 24/7/365 environment. Author and monitor database maintenance scripts to ensure optimal database operation. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures. Conduct analyses and generate reports to reflect findings. Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques related to database administration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related Information Technology field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and higher. Demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server Database Engine, buffer cache, transaction log architecture, backups, and execution plan analysis. Proficiency in SQL and T‑SQL is fundamental. #J-18808-Ljbffr
