Behavioral Aid Solutions (BAS) is Mental Health Centers with two facilities — in Doral and Sunset-Kendall — serving Miami-Dade County and, via Telehealth, families across Florida. Our team of 70+ licensed professionals provides counseling and psychotherapy, family and couples therapy, infant/toddler and child/adolescent mental health services, psychological testing, psychosocial rehabilitation, and targeted case management. We are currently seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) psychotherapists who are Registered Interns in the State of Florida, or qualified to register, for a role that blends direct clinical work with structured supervision toward full licensure. Our clinicians work with clients onsite at schools, in homes, in our office, and via Telehealth as appropriate. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy under supervision, in the office, in the community (homes/schools), and via Telehealth. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and intake evaluations as assigned. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of your Qualified Supervisor. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record. Accrue registered-intern practice hours toward licensure in accordance with Chapter 491, Florida Statutes. Attend all required individual and/or group supervision sessions and clinical trainings. Coordinate care with intake specialists, case managers, and outside providers/schools as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Master's degree (completed or in progress toward completion) in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work. Licenses / Certifications Active registration as a Registered Intern with the Florida Department of Health, or eligibility to register, under Chapter 491, Florida Statutes. Experience Prior practicum/internship experience in a clinical setting preferred. Additional Requirements Required to complete an AHCA Level II Background Screening, as mandated under Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. Reliable transportation for community-based sessions (homes/schools) preferred. Reliable, self-directed, and interested in participating in clinical trainings within the company. Able to see clients in the community, in the office, and/or via Telehealth. REPORTS TO: Reports to your assigned Qualified Supervisor, with escalation through the Outpatient Services Director and ultimately the Clinical Director. SCHEDULE: This is a flexible, per-diem schedule; sessions and visits are scheduled directly between you and your assigned clients within program needs. Full-time and part-time arrangements may also be available. COMPENSATION & POSITION TYPE: This is a per-diem/independent contractor position with the expectation of maintaining a part-time or full-time caseload; full-time and part-time employee arrangements may also be available. Compensation is a competitive, productivity-based rate paid per session/unit delivered. Clinical Supervision Toward Licensure & Staff Support — structured individual and/or group clinical supervision is provided by a Board-approved Qualified Supervisor pursuant to Chapter 491, Florida Statutes, to support your path toward full licensure, backed by ongoing administrative and staff support from our team. Free Professional Development Trainings Hosted by BAS — Behavioral Aid Solutions is an approved CE Broker provider, hosting at least two continuing education trainings per year at no cost to staff. As a Registered Intern you're welcome to attend now to build your clinical knowledge, with CE credit applying once you are fully licensed. Tuition & Student Loan Reimbursement Pathway (Upon Licensure) — once fully licensed, clinicians may become eligible for tuition or student loan reimbursement assistance through a qualifying workforce program. This benefit is subject to additional eligibility considerations, including maintaining a minimum weekly commitment (40 hours full-time, or 20 hours part-time) for at least two years, consistent with the sponsoring program's guidelines.
