Laboratory Technician 1

Operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in Spring, TX, this role is 2nd Shift - 2pm-10:30pm, offering a modern, international working environment equipped with advanced R&D tools to help advance the promise of life science.

responsibilities:

• Synthesize oligonucleotides using various synthesizer platforms, including modification injections and conjugations.
• Perform cleavage, deprotection, and purification using various methods and equipment, then submit material for QC.
• Execute liquid handling using both manual techniques and automated platforms for sampling, dilution, and aliquoting.
• Prepare reagents, stock raw materials, and set up work areas while properly utilizing LIMS for each manufacturing step.
• Accurately follow SOPs, complete quality assurance records, and perform routine equipment cleaning and accuracy checks.

 
qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory or production lab experience.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
• Proven ability to be detail-oriented, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand/sit constantly, and work around flammable solvents, carcinogens, and corrosives using proper PPE.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-year degree with 6 months of laboratory experience.
