Quick Facts: Location: Baraboo, WI (707 14th Street) Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 01/31/2027 Shift: 24-hour day shifts (07:00 – 07:00), combination of weekdays and weekends Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Contract (6+ months) Licensing/Certifications: MD/DO, WI license (IMLC accepted), BLS, ACLS, NRP, CSR, DEA Experience: 1-2 years preferred in obstetrics and gynecology Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $253.50/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2), comprehensive coverage Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Travel and licensing reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide labor and delivery care in a hospital-based OB-GYN department Manage routine labor, perform cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries Conduct postpartum rounds and emergency gynecologic consultations Support a patient volume of approximately 196 births annually Document using EPIC EMR system Collaborate with support staff and hospital teams Float to other facilities (Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, Madison) as needed What You Need: Valid MD/DO license in Wisconsin (IMLC accepted) BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in labor and delivery Ability to perform routine labor management, c-sections, postpartum rounds, and emergency consults Willingness to float to multiple sites as needed About the Assignment: Join a reputable hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin, primarily supporting labor and delivery services with limited high-risk obstetrics.
