Location: Denver, CO, US; Bloomington, MN, US Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies Opportunity Type: Staff Project Only Hire: No The Opportunity The Project Controls Sr Analyst - Schedule Lead is a senior level position in Planning/Scheduling. In this role you have the opportunity to: Competently perform all aspects of planning/scheduling assignments according to training, capability and experience. Provide guidance to less experienced project controls personnel. Have project team supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the project control function of a project and influence internal and external clients. Facilitate project forecasts. Recognize issues and advise project team or JV partners on matters affecting project execution. Support proposal efforts. Schedule/Planning Interface with JV partners for Planning and Scheduling activities. Ensure constructability is part of planning process. Apply key cost control processes. PJC Management Lead a team of project control professionals. Coordinate planning on less complex projects after baseline is in place. Ensure systems are in place to know work status and identify issues proactively. Interface with management team to identify issues. Advise field teams and HO PCM on matters affecting project success, as applicable. Lead or direct PJC activities with JV and S/C construction partners, as applicable. Management Responsibilities Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (four-year) with six or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year degree with eight+ years of relevant experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Prefer a four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
