The warehouse Forklift Operator I is responsible for accurate, timely, and safe handling of incoming and outgoing material in warehouse and production environments. Operators will also store & rotate stock, load trailers, and manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Warehouse Operations.Pay Range: $19.00 per hour + shift differentialHours:7:00am - 3:30pm3:00pm - 12:00am9:00pm - 5:30amSchedule: 5 days per week (Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)Location: Fresno, CAPosition Type: Temp-to-HireTravel Requirements: NoneWork Environment: Warehouse EnvironmentAdditional Information: This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance. Demonstrates courtesy, discretion, friendliness, and diplomacy.Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.Performs routine pre-shift and post-inspections on warehouse equipment.Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets.Load trailers with pre-determined patterns for legal weight distribution.Utilizes an RF scanner and provides support in picking and staging orders, loading, and unloading trucks.Ability to store and rotate stock in correct locations with minimal variance.Correctly identify and apply labels to material received.Help support facility cleanliness.Effectively communicates with and supports team.Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Good prioritization and problem-solving ability.Self-starter that requires minimal supervision.Previous RF/WMS experience required.Proficient ability with forklift classes 1-5 including, double-deep high-reach, standup, double walkie riders, electric and LP forklifts.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency.Adept in fast paced, narrow aisle and congested multi-temp. environments.2 years of recent verifiable food manufacturing/distribution experience.Preferred Qualifications:Valid class A license.Bilingual in English and Spanish.
