Head of Operations (HVAC)

$110,000-$150,000 annually, plus performance bonuses

Houma, LA | Full-Time

As One Way AC and Electrical continues its rapid growth in residential and commercial HVAC, we're seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead our expanding team, drive operational excellence, develop future leaders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's long-term success while building a rewarding career alongside us.

Your Role:

• Lead and inspire our service, installation, and operational teams.
• Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
• Create scalable processes that support company growth.
• Improve operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional customer experiences.
• Partner directly with ownership on strategic planning and future business initiatives.
• Help identify and develop future leaders within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $110,000-$150,000, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of residential and commercial HVAC service and installation departments.
• Mentor managers, technicians, and support staff to maximize performance and career development.
• Monitor operational metrics and use data to improve productivity, profitability, and service quality.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest workmanship standards.
• Optimize scheduling, workflow, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, inventory, and operational expenses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Champion an outstanding customer experience while maintaining high performance expectations.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of experience within an HVAC company.
• Proven success overseeing residential and commercial HVAC operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC service, installation, and field operations.
• Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams.
• Experience managing KPIs, financial performance, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Service Titan or comparable HVAC management software is beneficial.
