Perioperative Registered Nurse First Assistant

BJC HealthCare seeks a Registered Nurse First Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. The RNFA provides expert perioperative nursing care and first-assist support during surgical procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments, managing instruments, suturing, hemostasis, and maintaining strict sterile technique. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff in a mission-driven, innovative, and compassionate environment focused on continuous improvement and ethical care.
