It’s time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity:Taylor DM Brands is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY!Work Authorization:To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Responsibilities:Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.Check plates for correct formatVisually inspect forms throughout run for qualityCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmYou Must Have:Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerancesHigh degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.High degree of mechanical abilityGood reading ability.Requirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:Must have ability to work with very close tolerancesAbility to effectively communicate with team membersHigh degree of analytical skillsGood color discernmentThe anticipated hourly wage for this position is $16.00 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
