Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist

Location: Anacortes, Washington

Department/Unit: Radiology

Salary Range: $22 to $40 per hour

Shift: 8 Hour Variable

Number of Positions: 4

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking four skilled and dedicated CT/X-Ray Technologists for a contract position in Anacortes, Washington. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services in the Radiology department.

• Perform CT scans and X-rays on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Provide imaging services for trauma, strokes, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patients.
• Assist with a small volume of procedures as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Start IVs as needed for contrast administration.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Document all imaging studies accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (Meditech), and utilize PACS for image management.

• Number of Scanners: 1 CT scanner.
• Average Number of Scans/Studies per Day: 60-80.
• Department Equipment: Siemens imaging equipment.

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• State license in Washington.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray preferred, with trauma and stroke patient experience favored.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with imaging equipment.

• Floating Requirements: Technologists may need to cover both X-ray and CT during graveyard shifts.
• Radiologist Availability: Radiologists are in-house from 8 AM to 5 PM and available by call after hours.
• Lead Tech: A lead technologist will be present during the day shift.
