Description Employee Type Regular Full Time Join Our Team We areseeking a detail-oriented and reliable Controller to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting records and controls, and serving as a trusted accounting resource across the organization. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting and collaborates with departments throughout the bank. This position is 100% onsite. What You’ll Do Review invoices, accruals, prepays, tax estimates, and other accounting entries for accuracy and proper accounting treatment. Support the annual budgeting process and provide accounting and finance recommendations to leadership. Maintain and review accounting records related to the bank’s investment portfolio, including securities activity, accruals, safekeeping, pledging, and bond accounting reports. Assist with regulatory reporting, exams, audits, Call Report support, FRY reports, and Summary of Deposits reporting. Monitor the bank’s daily liquidity position, prepare cash position reporting, and support funding and collateral processes. Serve as a backup resource for assigned accounting and financial reporting functions. What We’re Looking For Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. Five or more years of related banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting-related software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet and word processing tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and process orientation. Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization.
