Quality Control Laboratory Technician

QC Lab Technician
Cleveland, OH
3pm - 1:30am, M - Thurs
The QC Lab Technician will conduct analysis of finished and in-process samples for quality control. This includes but is not limited to instrument calibration, wet chemistry methods, data entry, sampling, preparing samples for shipping, and stocking supplies.
QC Lab Technician Responsibilities:
- Testing of in-process and finished good materials by following test methods.
- Calibrate testing equipment on regular basis.
- Retain pertinent samples for 1 year.
- Provide daily report on tested samples.
- Request resamples from production when products are out of specification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and working laboratory.
- Maintain records relating to all quality activities as documented in SOP’s, test methods, reserve samples and batch related documents.
QC Lab Technician Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Computer literate: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills, multi-task oriented
