Apprentice Stylist – Build Your Career at Salon Halo
No previous clientele required

Looking for a salon home where you can truly grow?

At Salon Halo, teamwork comes first. Together we accomplish things none of us could alone, and we have fun doing it. With the right systems and support, your career can be more successful and fulfilling than you imagined. Our stylists regularly rank in the top 1–10% of industry performance standards, and we want to help you get there too.

Who this is for

• Recent graduates of a licensed cosmetology school
• Stylists who hold a Florida cosmetology license or are in the process of getting one
• Brand-new graduates, or anyone who wants to elevate their education before building their own clientele
• People with a flexible schedule, since apprentice schedules change week to week
• People willing to travel between all 4 of our locations across the Tampa area
• Self-motivated, coachable team players who are excited to grow

Who this isn't for

• Anyone without cosmetology school education
• Current cosmetology students (ask us about our Pre-Apprenticeship Program instead!)

Our core values

• Self-motivated: You take ownership of your growth and your goals
• Team player: You lift others up and win together
• Proactive communicator: You speak up early, ask questions, and keep everyone in the loop
• Coachable: You welcome feedback and put it into action
• Excellence in service: Every guest leaves feeling cared for

If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Education is our foundation

Our award-winning apprenticeship gives you in-depth, hands-on training every week:

• Weekly apprenticeship classes (Graduate Program): Small-group classroom education with specialized instructors, including hands-on practice on live models
• Weekly Master Program: 2 hours of training alongside our whole team, the same education that keeps our top stylists at the top
• Work side by side with some of the industry's top stylists in the salon
• Ongoing education with industry partners such as R+Co, Paul Mitchell and Easihair Pro

There's no ceiling on how far you can grow here.

Where your career can go

We help you grow in the direction that fits your strengths and goals, including:

• In-salon educator
• Brand ambassador
• Bridal specialist
• Extension specialist
• Makeup lead
• Community involvement leader

Why you'll love it here

• Clean, modern, upscale salons
• Pleasant, loyal guests
• A team that genuinely supports each other

Ready to find your salon family? Apply today!

To apply, you must have graduated from a board-approved Florida cosmetology school and hold, or be actively pursuing, your Florida cosmetology license. Our apprenticeship builds on that foundation and does not replace state licensing requirements.
