Job Title: Order Entry / Customer Service Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Dayton, NJ (100% On-Site)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour

About the Opportunity:
A well-established manufacturing company in Dayton, NJ is seeking an experienced Order Entry / Customer Service Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis .


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with SAP order entry and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter high-volume customer orders into SAP (primary responsibility)
  
• Manage and respond to customer inquiries via phone queue (approximately 30% of role)
  
• Provide timely updates on order status, shipping details, and product availability
  
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, logistics, and production
  
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction
  

Qualifications:

• Required: Recent (within the last 2-3 years) hands-on experience entering orders in SAP
  
• Prior customer service or customer care experience in a professional setting
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle inbound customer inquiries
  
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Ability to work fully on-site in Dayton, NJ

• Reports directly to the Customer Service Manager
  
• Opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs
