Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join Dr. Harry Tseng & Associates. The ideal candidate will provide excellent dental hygiene services, support patient education, and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment. This position involves working closely with our experienced dental team to promote optimal oral health for patients of all ages, including children. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Perform professional dental cleanings including scaling and polishing to prevent and treat oral diseases

Assess patients by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories

Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized treatment plans

Assist dentists chairside during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques

Capture and interpret diagnostic images to support treatment planning

Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Adhere to strict infection control protocols with aseptic techniques

Review and verify medical documentation prior to treatments

Collaborate with the dental team to support pediatric and general dentistry cases

Comply with clinic policies regarding documentation, medical coding, and patient confidentiality

part-time $73 - $73 per hour

Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist per state requirements

Proven experience in a dental clinic or similar environment

Working knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control

Competence in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and oral health education

Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards

Ability to use EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix (preferred but not required)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with pediatric dentistry or working with children

Proficiency in medical and dental coding practices

Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment operation

Experience with dental assisting and documentation review
