Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager Location: Prince George, Virginia Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $89,000.00 - $133,000.00 Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Drive impactful change and elevate operational performance by leading continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Champion the Continuous Improvement Model, empowering teams to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and implement sustainable process enhancements.
• Partner across functions to deliver measurable results, improve efficiency, and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
• Utilize systematic problem solving techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, Kaizens, Loss Analysis, and DMAIC methodology to eradicate losses.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools to data-based decision-making and behavioral change.
• Manage Site Improvement Projects through planning, results tracking, and coaching site leaders during execution.
• Deliver Continuous Improvement training courses, including LEAN and Belt training, tailored to organizational needs.
• Implement, support, and coach the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS), including Tier meetings, KPI development, and standard work.
• Facilitate Kaizen and 90-Day Improvement events to address systemic problems with focused teams.
• Develop and execute communication plans for process improvement efforts and report on project progress to stakeholders.
• Organize meetings to share updates, review performance, and plan next steps to sustain improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience. Degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Operations, Logistics, Food Science, Animal Science, or Supply Chain preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of related work experience.
• Advanced Project Management skills.
• Ability to travel 10% to support CI initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, Problem Solving Tools (RCA, DMAIC), Six Sigma, TQM, TPM, and SPC.
• Combination of business, interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills.
• Leadership skills in guiding teams.
• Self-starter mentality and motivation by challenges.
• Team-oriented with high individual contribution.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with teams across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Willing to support all shifts in CI initiatives.
