Software Testing EngineerLocation: US Texas PlanoWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in automated testing, specifically using Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework.Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans.Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Provide training and mentorship to junior testing team members.Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to ensure best practices are followed.Mandatory Skills:Strong expertise in Robot Framework for automated testing.Proficient in writing and executing test cases and scripts.Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Preferred Skills:Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.Knowledge of performance testing tools.Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.Proven experience in using Robot Framework for test automation.Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.If you are passionate about software quality and have the required skills, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team at TechM in Plano, Texas.
