Global Sourcing Specialist
JMJ Phillip Group
A well-established service provider in the automotive industry is seeking a global purchasing agent in the New Haven, Connecticut area.
Candidates Must Have
- 5 or more years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a mechanical environment with direct involvement in international sourcing.
- Demonstrated experience purchasing/sourcing machinery parts or other mechanical components is required for this role.
- Experience identifying low-cost global regions to purchase parts from.
- Working knowledge of international trade processes, including but not limited to: freight forwarding and customs clearance.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and comfortability conducting business with suppliers across language and cultural barriers.
