PRN Medical Business Associate - Urology Clinic Full-time, Shift: Day Shift, Status: PRN Location: 1221 Sixth St, Traverse City MI Schedule: Office Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (PRN Schedule up to 30 Hours Weekly) Job Overview A PRN Medical Business Associate at our Urology Clinic serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring accurate registration and scheduling to deliver exceptional care. A Day in the Life As a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist), you are the first point of contact for patients & their families. Your personal interaction and efficiency start the path for an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing. Obtain and verify all required patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system accurately. Schedule patient appointments including return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures. Set the tone for the visit by greeting patients professionally in person and over the telephone. Respond effectively to patients and their families. Responsibilities Verify patient and insurance information, accurate data entry into registration system. Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and diagnostic tests. Greet patients professionally in person and over the phone. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive environment. Qualifications High school graduate or GED. 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience; experience working with the public with minimal supervision.
